These are some of the many vintage postcards from my Mom's side (the Swedish side) of the family. There are seventy-four in all, dating from between 1900 and the 1930's

Jerub-Baal (pronounced jeh-rhueb bah-ahl) was the name given to the biblical Judge Gideon after he destroyed an altar to the Canaanite god Baal set up by his father and the people of Israel. As the origional iconoclast he sets the example that will be followed here.

Um...actually I don't know how to view the other images - you need to post your flickr page URL - these are just static URLs and I've never been able to work out how to get back the parent site (I don't rule out stupidity on my part but I don't *think* it can be deduced from the statics)
