The Big Sky
Looking back at all this, from the 80s, it's interesting to see how much video there is from Kate that has a "Steampunk" feel to it. Cloudbusting would be another obvious one.

The musings of an artist on Art, culture, philosophy, theology, politics and his own work. Jerub-Baal (pronounced jeh-rhueb bah-ahl) was the name given to the biblical Judge Gideon after he destroyed an altar to the Canaanite god Baal set up by his father and the people of Israel. As the origional iconoclast he sets the example that will be followed here.

What a bodacious groove that is...one of my favorite tunes, for sure.
The video is also very Pythonesque, not that there's anything wrong with that. Just distinctly British.
And Kate is irresistably cute.
So what do you think of her new album, Aerial?
Aerial is good, but not up to the level of Red Shoes or Sensual World.
Of course, my favorite is, and will probably always remain Hounds of Love
